Privacy & Data Use
Blackwood Resort collects limited personal information for reservations, communication, payment processing, marketing, and operational purposes. We do not sell personal data. Information may be shared with trusted service providers or as required by law. Reasonable safeguards are used, but absolute security is not guaranteed. Cookies and analytics tools may be used on our website.
Reservations, Payments & Cancellations
All reservations are binding agreements. Guests must be 21+ unless approved in writing. All payments are non-refundable unless explicitly stated. No-shows, early departures, weather events, travel issues, or personal circumstances do not qualify for refunds. Chargebacks will be disputed using these published policies.
Guest Conduct & House Rules
Guests must respect the property, staff, neighbors, and other guests. Parties, excessive noise, nauthorized guests, smoking indoors, illegal activity, fireworks, or unsafe behavior are prohibited. Maximum occupancy limits must be followed. Violations may result in immediate removal without refund and additional charges for damages or excessive cleaning.
Assumption of Risk & Liability
Guests assume all risks associated with a nature-based resort, including uneven terrain, wildlife, weather, pools, hot tubs, fire features, and wellness activities. Blackwood Resort is not liable for injuries, accidents, or loss caused by guest negligence. Liability is limited to the amount paid for the reservation to the fullest extent permitted by law.
